March 24, 2020 - Message from InclusionNL during Covid19 pandemic
Here for You
InclusionNL is open for online business and here to virtually support business partners/employers who need help with accessibility questions or if looking for accessible strategies for employees to work remotely during the CoVid19 pandemic.
Helping our business partners/employers navigate complex accessibility issues and overcome unique challenges is at the core of what we do. That means being there, both in good times and bad, to provide the reliable guidance, first-rate work ethic, and exceptional service your business needs, as well as advance accessibility & barrier-free practices in a dynamic and responsible manner.
As CoVid19 affects a growing number of people and businesses, caring for our team members, our partners, and the broader community continues to be InclusionNL’s top priority.
Caring for Our Team: Like many businesses, we have taken the precaution of closing our office location and making accommodations for our team to work fulltime from home. We began preparing for this possibility last week to mitigate disruptions in our services and will otherwise continue working as usual.
Caring for our Partners: We’re here for you! InclusionNL’s team is connected and available to answer your questions. We are gathering information and resources on ways the Covid19 impacts those with various types of disabilities. As an example, please feel free to share this guide to help those with spinal cord injuries. Please do not hesitate to contact us (kathy@inclusionNL.ca) if we can be of assistance, whether it is related to accessibility issues connected to Covid19, telework or any other related concerns.
Caring for Our Community: We want to help all businesses and consumers get through this challenging time. People with disabilities who access services from Empower, The Disability Resource Centre are encouraged to connect with them through email, Facebook, or phone.
Stay safe and take good care.
