Andrea Jones
CRWDP BC Cluster Coordinator
Andrea is the CRWDP British Columbia (BC) Cluster Coordinator and a PhD candidate in Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia. Through her role at CRWDP she supports the coordination of activities for the BC cluster. This includes support for work disability policy research development and translation, as well as engagement with community and academic partners.
Her research interests include occupational epidemiology, workers’ compensation policy, and the impacts of chronic health conditions like common mental disorders on work outcomes and the evaluation of strategies to improve these. Using population level health data, her thesis work examines the impacts of anxiety and depression disorders on work disability outcomes after work-related musculoskeletal injury, including the influence of gender on these relationships.
