Pam Lahey

Partner Representative; Executive Committee Member (shared with Abdou Saouab and Gail Fawcett))

Pam Lahey is a research advisor with the Social Research Division in the Social Policy and Service Branch directorate at Employment and Social Development Canada. She works on disability and accessibility matters of concern to all Canadians, including persons with disabilities. Pam received her PhD in 2018 in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University. She is a past student fellow with CRWDP. Her past research initiatives focused on improving the Canadian labour market for persons living with disabilities, and in particular for persons with lived experience of mental health conditions. Her professional experience as a social policy analyst allowed her to provide input to the Ontario government on such matters as income security, employment policy, and health care needs for marginalized populations. In addition, Pam is a sessional lecturer at McMaster University. She currently teaches an on-line course in Strategic Writing in the Health Care field.
